Turning Pain into Purpose
The Adams Legacy Project is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded to honor the memory of those lost to the drug epidemic. We hold a space where families and friends can say the name, tell the story, and grieve without anyone flinching away. We work to raise awareness, break the silence that shame builds, and put real help in the hands of people who need it.
Through events, shared stories, and resources, we are building something gentler than the world that failed the people we lost.
What We Do
Memorial Posters I make custom posters that celebrate the lives of people lost to the drug epidemic, so their faces and stories stay where everyone can see them. Every poster is free for the family. They live online, on our memorial wall, and on our Facebook page, and they go on display at our events. No one gets reduced to how they died here. They get remembered for who they were.
Awareness Events and Support Groups Through live and online events, I help people understand what the opioid crisis really does to families. I also run a Facebook support group where anyone who has lost someone to the drug crisis can find others who get it, the ones who won't flinch when you talk about it. Find them here.
Recovery Resources The website has a free list of recovery resources, put together to help individuals and families find the support they need without searching alone.
Reach Out Anytime If you or someone you love needs support, or you just need to say a name out loud to someone who will listen, reach out. I am here. I will help however I can.
