JACOB MARK TRICKEY II

FOREVER 24

Jacob Mark Trickey II was a man of immense presence—physically at 6’4” and emotionally with a heart so big it could hold the world. From the moment he was born, at 9 pounds, 2 ounces, he brought immense pride to his parents, especially his father, who was honored to name his firstborn son after him. Jacob grew up as a joyful, chubby boy whose laughter and happiness filled every room he entered.

“He had a smile that would stop a nine-day clock,” his mother recalls. And it wasn’t just a smile—it was a beacon of light that could turn a bad day into a good one, a reflection of the love and warmth he carried within him. That smile, unforgettable and infectious, became one of the many reasons Jacob was adored by so many.

Jacob had a flair for life, dressing to the nines no matter where he went, exuding class and confidence. He loved the outdoors, swimming, and the simple joys of being surrounded by friends and family. His love of life was matched only by his love for others—Jacob cherished his relationships deeply and was a true "Ladies' Man," a testament to his charm, wit, and undeniable charisma.

Jacob's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He gave his heart to the Lord at a young age, and that faith carried him through life’s challenges. But even with his love for God, family, and friends, Jacob struggled with a battle he couldn’t fully overcome. He had a “monkey on his back,” and it was fentanyl—a silent, deadly force—that ultimately took him from this world.

His mother’s words encapsulate the loss felt by all who knew him:
Jacob was loved by so many. He had an infectious personality and a smile I'll never forget. I hope Jacob is remembered for his love of life, his love of the outdoors, his love for the ladies, and the joy he brought to everyone. He will be very, very missed and never forgotten. Rest in peace, my son. I will see you soon. Until we meet again.”
