MELISSA "LISS" FITZGERALD

FOREVER 31

Melissa "Liss" Fitzgerald had eyes like the clearest summer sky—bright, bold, and full of stories untold. Her gaze held a kind of magic, a reflection of the love she poured into the world. Those blue eyes saw beauty where others might not, glimmering with hope even in life’s toughest moments, and softening with an endless, selfless devotion to her children, her family, and the people lucky enough to know her.

Liss was an awesome mother to 4 beautiful kids, an amazing sister, and a loving, caring daughter. She loved being outside with her kids and enjoying nature. Even though as a single mom she struggled, she was always there, willing to help anyone.” - her loved one

Her family’s words carry the weight of a love that cannot be undone, a bond that remains unbroken. Liss lived for her family, and her children were the heart of her world. She was the kind of mother who made every moment count, her laughter echoing through long summer afternoons and her love wrapping around her children like a warm, protective embrace.

The outdoors was her haven, where her soul felt free. Whether standing under the open sky or walking through grass with her kids by her side, Liss connected with the earth in a way that made life feel fuller, richer. The breeze on her face, the sunlight on her skin—it was as if the world itself reflected the beauty and strength she carried within her.

Even in her own struggles, she never hesitated to lift others. Her kindness was a quiet but steady force, a beacon for those who needed comfort, help, or simply to be reminded they were not alone. Liss gave freely of her heart, and in doing so, she left behind an indelible mark on everyone who crossed her path.

Though her journey was far too short, Liss’s legacy lives on in the love she gave so generously, the laughter she inspired, and the memory of her radiant blue eyes that seemed to hold the world’s light.
