PATRICIA "PATTY"

ALLEN STILLWELL

FOREVER 44

BPatty Stillwell was one of those souls who made the world feel softer just by being in it. She was wild in spirit, warm in heart, and had a laugh that made people feel like maybe everything would be okay. She loved her family with a fierceness that never needed to be explained. You felt it. You knew it.

She was a beloved daughter to Allen and Margaret, a sister, an aunt, and a friend. But above all, she was a mother. Her daughters were her world. Becoming a grandmother only deepened the love she already carried. Her grandchildren brought her joy that lit her up from the inside. She loved deeply and gave everything she had to the people closest to her.

Patty found beauty in nature. She was the kind of person who could sit quietly near the trees and feel at peace, or walk barefoot just to feel the earth beneath her. She was a free spirit, but her love was steady. She created home wherever she went, and people felt safe in her presence.

On the night of December 27, 2018, just two days after Christmas, Patty's life was taken suddenly. She overdosed after unknowingly being given fentanyl. It was not her choice. It was not supposed to happen. What she was given was laced, and it stole her away without warning. Her death was heartbreaking, unfair, and cruel.

Her absence shattered her family. Her daughters still hear her voice when they try to fall asleep. Her grandchildren still miss her hugs and ask questions that are hard to answer. Every holiday carries her name. Every birthday, every photo, every ordinary day feels different now. Her family feels the weight of her loss every single day.

She should still be here. She should be watching her grandchildren grow. She should be dancing in the kitchen, calling her daughters just to check in, making everyone laugh like she always did. Instead, her memory is held tightly by those who refuse to let her be forgotten.

Patty was light in a heavy world. She was a woman who loved with her whole heart and never held back. That kind of love does not disappear. It remains. It shows up in the strength of her daughters. It echoes in the laughter of her grandchildren. It lives in the quiet moments when her name is spoken out loud, and even louder when it is spoken silently in grief.

She lives on in everyone who loved her. She lives on in every person who reads this and feels the weight of what was lost. Her story matters. Her life matters.

Patricia Allen Stillwell was loved beyond measure. For her family, she is missed more than words can say.

Patty is the aunt of Adam Mcdaniel, the man this project was started in honor of.
