SHANDON
FOREVER 39
December 21, 1983 – April 5, 2023
Lafayette, Indiana
Shandon was a remarkable woman whose life was filled with grace, talent, and resilience. She had a beautiful heart and was cherished by so many. Her achievements spoke to her incredible drive and passion: a level 10 gymnast, a cross-country runner, a softball player on a traveling team, and a top graduate in her class. With her blonde hair and blue eyes, she embodied the classic girl-next-door charm, but her strength and perseverance made her truly extraordinary.
Even in her most challenging moments, Shandin found the strength to keep going. Tragically, her life was cut short under heartbreaking circumstances. She was taken from this world in an act of neglect and cruelty—given a fatal dose of methamphetamine laced with 32.2 ng of fentanyl. Those responsible attempted to cover their actions, leaving her loved ones to bear the heavy weight of grief and unanswered questions.
Her family remembers her as a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend who always gave her best to those around her. Though her loss leaves an immense void, her memory and the love she shared will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
Rest peacefully, Shandin. You are deeply missed, and your story will never be forgotten. You remain forever loved.
